    One Month Postpartum Update

We are officially just over one month of being a family of 5, so I wanted to give a quick one month update and share some of our most used baby items so far! Theo is doing wonderful and growing in so many ways already. His last check up was at two weeks so I am not sure what he weighs now, but at his last check up he was 8lbs 5oz. From his first check up at 2 days old til that two week appointment he gained 21 ounces!!! I know he has grown significantly since then too! He is starting to hold our gaze more and smile so…

    Newborn Life: Sanity Savers.

Having a newborn brings in waves of so many emotions. I know for me I have felt intense joy, and then in the next breath a moment of anxiety as I play out the next 6 months in my head and wonder if I’ll sleep more than 2 consecutive hours and ever be able to clean my bathroom again. It can be even more complex when it’s a second, third, fourth baby and you are balancing the adjustment your other kids go through too! After having my third newborn I have come to realize that often times weeks 3-5 can actually be harder than the first 2. I think it’s…

I figured I would compile them into a post for you guys in case you were interested. Below is my list which includes links for all of the products [Links are gray text]! Our Family is Growing!

If you haven’t seen it on social media yet, we have some big news! We are expecting baby number 3 at the end of September/beginning of October 2019! We are so excited!! You may remember we addressed this question in an older Q+A post, and even then we were still unsure. I figured I would share what changed and how we decided to go for having a 3rd baby. Having a third baby was always something I thought I wanted, but also wasn’t sure if I could handle it! Our two kids have big personalities in different ways, and I also wanted to think about what was best for them.…

    2019: New Year, New Goals

Happy New Year, friends! I don’t always do this, but this year I decided to pray about what the theme of 2019 would be, and what word God would have me focus on as the year begins. The word I kept seeing over and over again in my mind, and literally in random places everywhere is the word “new”. A friend of mine sent me this scripture and it has been life to me like never before: “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in…

Supporting Your Wife as a Stay-At-Home-Mom

Hi friends, it’s Joe today, and I am sharing some encouragement for the husbands and fathers out there about supporting your wife as she stays home with the kids. If you are reading this and you are a stay at home mom, feel free to share this with your husband and get his thoughts as well! If you are single, here are some things you can take note of when picking a potential spouse and teammate. As some of you may know, I work outside the house.  Melissa works inside the house.  I work a 9-5.  She works a 24/7/365.  I get to leave my work behind in a separate…

How I Lowered Our Grocery Budget

Happy Wednesday, friends! Today I’m talking about how we save money on our grocery budget! Joe has always been a budgeter and frugal with how we spend our money, and it has rubbed off on me over the years. For one, we have student loan debt that we are working on paying off, but we also want to make sure our money goes to things we actually truly value. And of course we are still learning and growing as we go! When it comes to food, we value feeding ourselves and our kids with wholesome foods, and I enjoy cooking “clean” meals as much as possible. As far as organic…
